VR Flight Training Simulator

Emergency scenarios in live aviation carry irreversible consequences. Engine failures, avionics malfunctions, adverse weather events, and crew coordination breakdowns cannot be safely rehearsed at scale in real aircraft. KS Smart Solutions built the solution fully immersive VR-based flight simulators deployed across five IAF and Army Aviation stations, giving pilots a high-fidelity, repeatable training environment for the scenarios that matter most.
What the System Delivers
Immersive VR Environment Pilots wear VR headsets that faithfully replicate the cockpit, instrumentation, and surrounding environment of their specific aircraft, placing them inside the scenario rather than observing it from a screen.

Force-Feedback Controls Custom-built, 3D-printed flight controls with force-feedback replicate the physical response of actual aircraft systems, building genuine muscle memory, not just visual familiarity. Interrelated pedals, cyclic, and collective respond as the real aircraft would.

Indigenous 6DOF Motion Platform Six Degrees-of-Freedom motion, Pitch, Roll, Yaw, Heave, Surge, and Sway with advanced motion cueing algorithms creates full physical immersion. Spatial disorientation training, emergency manoeuvre rehearsal, and combat scenario practice deliver a training experience that no fixed-base simulator can replicate.

Instructor Operating Console A 4-channel instructor console gives trainers real-time pilot monitoring, live scenario and failure injection capability, and full mission replay and playback for structured debrief. Instructors create student profiles, assign missions, configure emergency scenarios, and review performance all from one interface.

Training Analytics and Assessment Every session generates individual and group performance data decision timing, SOP adherence, crew communication, and outcome metrics tracked on a live dashboard. Session recordings are available for instructor-led debrief and independent student self-review.

Multi-Trainee Tactical Training Formation flying simulation, connected crew stations, and shared mission environments enable multi-pilot and crew coordination training preparing pilots for real operational scenarios, not isolated individual drills.
