Connected Learning in Every Hand

For students in India's most underserved communities, the school or Anganwadi centre is often the only place where structured learning happens. Outside those walls at home, in the evening, on weekends there is no access to learning material, no way to revise, and no connection to educational content. We addressed this directly by supplying smartphones to ICDS students and families, putting curriculum-aligned learning content, study material, and educational resources directly into their hands, wherever they are.
What the Smartphone Delivers
Always-On Access to Study Material Curriculum-aligned content, revision material, activity guides, and foundational learning resources pre-loaded and accessible offline. Students engage with their lessons beyond school hours, reinforcing what was taught in the classroom without requiring internet connectivity.

Parent and Family Engagement The device becomes a bridge between the ICDS centre and the home. Parents access guidance on supporting their child's development, receive updates from the centre, and stay informed on their child's progress bringing families into the learning process for the first time.

Digital Literacy From Day One For many students and families, this is their first personal digital device. Operating it, navigating content, and engaging with educational material builds foundational digital literacy skills that compound through every subsequent stage of education.

Attendance and Communication Teachers and supervisors communicate directly with families through the device absence alerts, centre announcements, and health and nutrition reminders reach parents instantly, improving centre attendance and family participation.

Centrally Managed and Secured All devices are managed through a centralised MDM framework content is controlled, inappropriate access is restricted, and the device remains focused on its educational purpose throughout its deployed life.
